Our Acquisition Fund allows us to acquire outstanding works from Australian artists, continuing to build our already significant collection.

Your contribution to the Acquisition Fund will be directed solely towards the purchase of artworks. For donations over $500, you will be acknowledged as a Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery supporter on our Donor Plaque, on our website and in our Annual Report.

cultural gifts

Many of the 500-plus artworks in our collection have come from generous donors – from individuals, artists, artists’ family members and from other galleries.

Artworks can be donated directly to the gallery, or via the Cultural Gifts Program, a national program that offers tax incentives to those who donate cultural items to public galleries.

All artwork donations to Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery are guided by our Collections Policy, which considers relevance to our collection, condition and storage requirements.
